(Ultimate S does not function in Vegas Movie Studio)

VASST Homepage                for the tour

WOW!, I think my brain is on overload for all the information Douglas rammed in there during the day!!

Huge variety of topics, and all presented well. I'm a novice user, but didn't feel left behind at any point because of the demonstration media and Douglas' teaching style.

How come there's only 24 hours in a day? This should have been a week long seminar for all the info we received. I can't wait to play with my training disk!

I know it's been said a few posts down, but the VAST NYC was, as my four-year old nephew says, "remarkulous". The agenda and instuctions were superb. Big ups to Douglas and Mannie for a very professional, informative and engaging seminar. Where do I sign up for the FAVAS Tour (Finishing Audio in Vegas, Acid, Sound Forge)? There is so much more I want to know about this subject... it's amazing how fast the 9 hours went!

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

I too would like to thank Douglas and Mannie for a great day in LA. I am a complete beginner at using NLE software. So, I thought this seminar might be too much for me, but as Douglas went through the day cramming us with so much great and very useful info, all kinds of lights started coming on for me. This day in LA now gives me total confidence to jump into all these programs. (VV,SF6 & Acid) So if there are any rookies out there thinking this seminar is to much for you, just go for it! It will give you that much needed kick start.

Awesome job. You are just about the best presenter I've ever seen and have INCREDIBLE knowledge of your craft. It was a privelege to be there and for all of you out there who are thinking of going to this seminar and haven't decided, DO NOT MISS THIS!! You owe it to yourself and your customers/clients/future or current employers to go to this seminar.
I know I sound like a freakin' commercial but regardless of your level of use, you will definitely benefit from this seminar. Personally, I considered myself an intermediate user and I thought this seminar was perfect for me.

Just returned from Denver's VAST. What a great time! Only goes to show that a terrific program like VV3 is aptly demo'd by the master, DSE. Well worth the investment in time and $$$ for all those trying to decide whether to go.
"Most impressed with the vast quantity of information and training style, it's been the MOST pleasant experience I've ever had with software training...."

Yesterday I attended no doubt the best seminar yet! Thanks to Douglas and Manny for a very large leap in my effective use of Vegas, Acid and Sound Forge. At this rate I will have to attend only three more seminars to know more about those products than Sonic Foundry does :)

It was a day full of great information and was really inspiring. It was also great to meet many other Vegas users in Los Angeles. We don't feel so alone anymore:)
Hope to see more of this in the near future, as well as the birth of a Los Angeles user group.

Evenin' folks!
Man, what a day! I'm still not quite sure how DSE managed to cram so much solid information into 7 hours! With no exaggeration, whether you are a rank beginner to a seasoned pro (and we had all of them represented here in Denver) the V.A.S.T. Tour 2002 has something for everyone. I learned the solutions to two challenges I am facing on a production right now, and I didn't have to ask the question...the answers were already part of the curriculum. The long and short of it is that if you are trying to decide whether these tools are right for you; if you are just breaking into video production and need a good grounding in video and audio with practical, down to earth affordable tools; if you are trying to make the leap from experienced SoFo tool user to power user, then this is the place for you!
Great job, DSE and Mannie...thanks for making this event possible. It is easily one of the strongest training events I have attended in my 10-year video career and is a value far greater than the price of admission...even without the stuffed goodie bag and great prizes!
